Established in 1936, Children International (CI) is a US-based NGO that helps children through sponsorship. It currently helps over 300,000 children globally through various programs in health, nutrition, education, material aid and youth empowerment. Aflatoun is implemented in formal and non formal education settings.

Program started with 17 clubs with children between 12 and 14. 90% of the children participate. The Cibao Association of Savings has donated savings boxes for the clubs.
