The Centre for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution (CHRCR) is a research and training centre that help citizens take an active role in resolving conflicts rooted in ethnic and other differences. They promote human rights and basic freedoms as an essential part of the political, juridical and social transformation in the country. This organization works in close collaboration with UNICEF.
Programme
The Center for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution (CHRCR) has pre-piloted the Aflatoun activities in a primary school before integrating them in the Life Skills Manual of the National Curriculum. Teachers received Aflatoun training sessions before starting using the Life Skills Manual. The CHRCR is currently working in partnership with UNICEF towards implementing the programme with young people. They plan to work with Child-Friendly Cities and integrate the Aflateen programme in the Children Councils.
