Sander is the CEO of 180 Kingsday, an internationally renowned advertising agency with offices in Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
180 Kingsday works with some of the world’s most ambitious people and brands to help them see the world not as it is, but as it could be. The agency’s famous 180 thinking has created some of the most iconic marketing of the last 20 years – delivering both revered cultural and business impact. This success – for brands such as Adidas, PlayStation, BMW, Heineken, Pepsico, Rabobank, Qatar Airways and Diageo and organisations such as UNICEF, Young in Prison, and the Heart Foundation – is driven by the agency’s unwavering belief in the power of different perspectives. Exemplified by the 27 nationalities represented in its famous Canal House residence.
Sander has been on the board of the SIRE organisation, which creates the Netherlands’ leading public awareness campaigns, and VEA, the organisation for communications agencies in the Netherlands. Most recently, he spearheaded an initiative together with the Refugee Talent Hub and The National Postcode Lottery to promote the recruitment of (creative) talent from the wide pool of refugees in the Netherlands into the creative industry in Amsterdam.
Sander lived in New York and California and studied at the University of Amsterdam and Wharton and joined the Supervisory Board in 2019.
