In partnership with the education technology non-profit Solve Education!, Aflatoun International is piloting the Employability module of mobile and desktop game ‘Dawn of Civilization’ in a strategy to diversify the availability of its curriculum. Dawn of Civilization is a game that offers a variety of subjects such as Employability Skills, Financial Literacy and learning English.
The game targets young people between the age of 15 to 24 years old and is currently being piloted in by our partners in Asia: ChildFund Indonesia, Be Better in China, Children International and NATCCO in the Philippines, and Network for Education Children and Youth (NECY) in Sri Lanka.
Aflatoun’s Employability module is also available on Telegram, delivered by Solve Education!’s AI Chatbot: @Ed_the_bot. With different learning groups and game challenges, individuals can thoroughly enjoy learning while having fun. Over 17,000 Employability mini lessons have been delivered successfully since March 2021.
One of the learners, 19-year-old Bukola Adewuyi from Lagos, Nigeria shared:
The game’s official launch will be announced in the coming months – stay tuned!
